The observation is unanimous: the needs of associations are numerous, so the formats of business engagement must be just as numerous. Chez Komeet, our mission is to provide as many resources as possible to associations, through the commitment of companies and their teams. This is why, on our employee engagement platform, we offer financial donations in companies. And this, thanks to a module that is easy to use, effective and integrated directly on our platform.
The different ways to financially support associations
Every business is different. This is why several ways to make corporate donations exist.
- Emergency fundraisers: they allow you to react quickly to a crisis situation by supporting an association identified by Komeet or by your company. These collections generate 10 times more engagement when they are backed up by the company. In March 2022, we launched a “Ukraine Emergency” campaign which allowed us to collect €660,000 in one month from 15 companies in 26 countries.
- Fundraising for causes: these collections allow you to invite your collaborators to finance a specific project of an association in search of funds. We are convinced of the value of linking this type of collection to field missions so that the support given to the association is as strong and lasting as possible. In 2024, the collection of Clic Solidaire started by Sanofi For the Samusocial de Paris raised more than €100,000 to support people in isolation.
- Post-mission donations: It is an invitation to donate to an association after having carried out a mission there. This is an additional source of funding for NGOs hosting volunteer employees. It is also a concrete way to thank the teams in charge of welcoming the association for the time spent with them.
- Personal collections also called “Peer to Peer”: it is a powerful mobilization tool to allow your employees to become fundraisers and to broadcast donation campaigns to their loved ones. *Each year, The Human Safety Net Start sound Global Challenge with employees Generali in 26 countries. In 2024, €550,000 was collected internationally. *
- The rewards of the challenges: Thanks to simple gamification mechanisms, employees take on challenges to unlock their company's donations. These challenges can take multiple forms (kilometers traveled, kg collected, hours of commitment completed...).
- Salary rounding: It is a solidarity action based on volunteering, which consists in rounding up your salary and paying the difference to an association.
- Regular donations: This type of donation consists in paying a fixed amount to an association over a given period of time. And what's more, it's automatic!
